Knitting and Sewing

So I tried sewing another knit bag but this time I decided to add a zipper. Sewing this bag was not easy due to the thickness of the yarn I used. I also think I needed to change the needle on my sewing machine. But despite my difficulties, I managed to make a decent (and useable!) bag. The stitches are definitely not straight but I hope to improve quickly so I can start selling these! I think my next project will be a knit cross-body purse. Can't wait to start!

Knit Pouch

So I finally started using my sewing machine (after two years of intimidation) and it's not as hard as I was thinking! Here's the first thing I've sewn that is nice enough to actually show you. Next time I think I will add a zipper and start selling them. I especially love the floral cloth I sewed on the inside!

Knit Purse

I finally got the perfect yarn to knit a crossbody purse! I'm totally surprised at how cute it turned out! I will definitely be wearing this purse often. It was pretty simple to knit. I cut a circle out of cardboard and put it on the bottom so it keeps it's shape.

Ruffle Clutch

A while back I decided to take a plain, dull clutch and turn it into a cute ruffle clutch. I added some studs to finish it off and ta-da!
