The Corpse Whale
So my family and I have been watching this amazing show called Frozen Planet. This show has inspired me to research narwhals (a.k.a. Unicorns of the Sea) and to sketch them. I actually know some people who don't know what narwhals are...and some people thought they were mythical creatures....
Some random narwhal facts:
-Their long horn is actually a tooth and is only found on the males
-Narwhals are what began the unicorn legend
-In Old Norse, narwal means "corpse whale"
-The Inuit people will actually hunt narwhals just for their tusk which is a good source of vitamin C
