Cable Knit Cowl Pattern

Here's the third cowl I added to my Etsy shop. I knit this cowl with a super soft, non-pilling acrylic yarn.  You can purchase the scarf here: https://www.etsy.com/listing

This Cable Knit Cowl Pattern is a great project as Christmas approaches. The scarf can easily be finished in a few days and is a great gift. The pattern involves cabling and a three-needle bind-off. If you aren't familiar with these techniques - don't worry! The pattern includes links to tutorials so you won't get lost. I can finish one of these scarves in 3 or 4 days. If you are determined it could easily be finished in 2 days.

You can purchase the pattern here: https://www.etsy.com/listing

White Cable Knit Cowl

I made this scarf with a new yarn I just bought and I really love how it turned out. The yarn is a blend of cotton, acrylic and wool. It's a chunkier, more stiff yarn that is perfect for cowl knitting. I plan on creating the pattern for this cowl soon so let me know if you're interested! :)

Cable Knit Headband Pattern

Just finished adding this new pattern to my Etsy site. These headbands are one of my favorite projects. They are fast and easy with just the perfect amount of difficulty to keep you entertained. I can whip up one of these beauties within an hour. If you love fast and adorable projects, then this is certainly for you!

Chunky Knit Scarves

I recently whipped up a few chunky knit scarves- these are the only things keeping me alive in this cold!

Simple Cowl

Extra chunky yarn is great for quick projects. I literally knit this cowl in an hour. I used some lovely alpaca Illimani yarn.

For the cowl, I cast 22 stitches onto size 15US needles. I knit until I ran out of my 2 balls of yarn.

Each row, I knit 3 stitches on each side of the cowl. I did two cables (6 stitches each) and purled the 4 stitched in between the two cables.

If you're scared of cables - don't be! They are easy. Really.

Cable Knit Infinity Scarves

My newest addiction- CABLES! I can't get over how gorgeous they make the simplest knitting projects. They turn a plain infinity scarf into a gorgeous accessory. I can't wait to make one for myself after Christmas.

Braided Headband

I love my new braided headband - but let me tell you - it was a PAIN to make.
Instead of just doing cables, I literally knit three strips and braided them together. It was super annoying. Like really. I don't recommend it.

BUT it's gorgeous, is it not?

Periwinkle and Mustard

I. Can't. Stop. Knitting. These.

I've made about 12 different colors so far. Here are two I recently photographed. These unique colors are very eye-catching. I love accessories that make you stand out from the crowd- and these two headbands definitely do the job!

All the colors will be available on Etsy tomorrow (Hopefully)!
