Knit Jumper

Recently finished this wonderful knit sweater.

I used a Drops pattern and made a few adjustments
Find the free pattern here: http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/us/pattern.php?id=4625

As for yarn, I used a DK weight cotton.

I would totally recommend this as a "my first sweater" pattern. It was easy. It did take me a few months but there was no confusion with the pattern. My only adjustment was the sleeves. I picked up stitches on the arm hole rather than knitting arms and sewing them in.

Chunky Knit Scarves

I recently whipped up a few chunky knit scarves- these are the only things keeping me alive in this cold!

Knit Fingerless Gloves

I've finally perfected my fingerless glove pattern. I plan on giving lots of these for Christmas presents! They don't take too long to knit and are very sturdy. If you're interested in the pattern, let me know. I'm considering putting it on Etsy.

Light and Shadows

One thing I've really loved about my Canon Rebel is its ability to accurately capture light and shadows. I feel all my previous cameras distorted lighting so I never took as many pictures.

Blue and White Knit Shirt

I finished knitting my new shirt! I absolutely love it. First, I knit two squares and sewed the sides together (but I left arm holes). Then, I used my double pointed needles and knit sleeves onto the shirt. It was cute as a tank top as well, but I wanted sleeves.
