Since the sun was shining and the snow was melting, I decided to make myself a pot of Sunshine Rainbow Blooming Tea from LuLin Tea. This lovely tea blooms into a gorgeous flower as it steeps, making me dream of springtime.

Summer Headband
You might recognize this headband from my last blog post! I thought I would share all the pictures of this headband with you. I think the next few days I might be busy knitting a few more headbands like this to wear in Florida! What knitted items do you wear in the summer?

Roses
Sometimes even dead flowers are beautiful! I wanted to page press these lovely flowers but didn't do it in time, so I took pictures instead.

Indian Paint Brush
My favorite flowers have always been Indian Paint Brush. They grew all over behind our house in Colorado. These flowers are not only beautiful but they are also edible (and delicious!) They are similar to honeysuckle and have a sweet dew inside that you can eat. I've been wanting to paint them for my room since I can no longer pick them and eat them! :)

Spring Awakening
Many of the beautiful trees in our yard are blossoming. Every year I take a picture of them at this stage. it's just so beautiful to see the trees awakening after their winter slumber.
Yesterday we found this little guy on our back patio. I just had to add a picture of him, due to his cuteness. He's a Red-Backed Salamander.

Valentine's Day
People either love or hate Valentine's Day. I personally love Valentine's Day! It's an excuse to make yummy treats and take pretty pictures. Plus I have an awesome Dad who gives me roses and chocolate! The way I see it, you can be single and still enjoy Valentine's Day. Simply treat your self until Prince Charming comes along.
