Woodland Paintings

Last week I went through this painting phase that lasted a few days. I ended up doing five different paintings of woodland animals. Here are the results!

Fall Art

While we were away, I was inspired to paint! I brought lots of watercolors with me and I painted almost every day we were gone. I haven't done much watercolor painting so this was a chance for me to practice. I'm not fully satisfied with the results (what artist is?) but I tried my best to mainly capture the lovely fall colors all around me.

Teacup Painting

I haven't posted in quite a while. I just don't feel normal when I'm not doing something creative and sharing it with you all! So today I set aside some time just to paint and knit. It made me feel so much better. I can't wait to finished these paintings and show them to you!

Doctor Who Jewelry Box

Lately I've been really wanting to try painting a jewelry box. I finally tried it and I decided on a Doctor Who theme. I think I might try to sell some of these on Etsy. I love how the galaxy look turned out!

I'm also knitting a cushion to put inside the box. Hoping it turns out! 

saturdays are for painting

 I have been painting like crazy the past two days! For school I'm studying Art of the Western World. It has been my favorite thing to study thus far and I've been so inspired. I just want to paint and knit and drink coffee forever. Also, I got this lovely floral sweater the other day. I'm in love. On Wednesday I'm going back to the Chicago Art Institute so prepare for more art pictures soon!

Elk Painting

I finally finished my brother's painting. I added an elk in the corner because I felt as though something was missing. 

Doctor Who?

Doctor Who is by far my favorite TV show ever. I've seen every single episode at least twice! My friends know me so well and got me these awesome items for Christmas. The shoes and card were even hand-painted by one of my talented friends!

Wolf Painting

My Christmas present to my Dad was this wolf painting. It's not quite done yet but I showed him how it's coming along. I need to begin my painting projects sooner than I think! Anyways, I like how it's turning out.
