Doctor Who Jewelry Box

Lately I've been really wanting to try painting a jewelry box. I finally tried it and I decided on a Doctor Who theme. I think I might try to sell some of these on Etsy. I love how the galaxy look turned out!

I'm also knitting a cushion to put inside the box. Hoping it turns out!

Knit Bracelets

After seeing so many different knit bracelets on blogs and Pinterest, I decided to knit myself a few! There are so many reasons why I now love knitting bracelets....

1) They are quick to make
2) They use up left over yarn
3) They make perfect gifts
4) They look lovely with fancy buttons (and I have hundreds of un-used buttons!)
5) They're stretchy so they can fit different sized wrists
6) They are so very pretty

Glass Vials

A few weeks ago I found some adorable little glass vials on Ebay. They were a great deal...so on a whim I ordered them as a gift for myself. They got here today and I'm pretty sure I love them. It's not exactly the vials that are so special, it's what you choose to put in them. I'm itching to find little things to put in these vials. You can get real creative and put flowers, charms, beads, or even dirt from your favorite place in them. I put some pretty glitter in one as an example.

Rainbow Wrists

Today I decided to have a little fun and throw on all my favorite bracelets. They are all different colors but somehow all match and go together. Some are from Michigan and others are from Colorado. Some I made myself and others are even from Indonesia. I hope this inspires you to wear some fun jewelry next time you go out!
