Beneath Those Silent Eyes
I wonder what’s beneath those silent eyes
Is there affection within or is it all lies
That look in those eyes I once used to see
It’s no longer there, captivating me
The endearing look deep in your eyes
That appear like pools of sapphire ice
Seems to be as gone as yesterday
yet on my heart, you still heavily weigh
Has not your fondness died
with that charming old look in your eye
I’m dying to know what’s on your mind
when your unexpressive face you hide behind
