I finished my knitted shawl! I actually kinda turned it into a sweater rather than a shawl, but I absolutely love it. I can also wear it as a scarf which I really like. I can't wait to wear it with my dress. Here's a sneak peak of it with my old dress.

ReplyDeleteThe shawl was very easy to knit and it actually only took me 2 days to finish. I didn't really follow an exact pattern but I did use what's called a sea foam stitch which you can find here: http://www.knittingonthenet.com/stitches/seafoam.htm (I didn't follow the sea foam stitch exactly, you'll notice)
I also used a size 13 needle. I casted on around 50 stitches and then just followed the pattern until the shawl was as long as I wanted. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!
